To conclude their course and earn their certificates, Harry and Yvonne traveled to Copenhagen to participate in a mini-conference organized by the Visualize Your Science framework. The event focused on the art of visual storytelling, exploring effective ways to communicate research visually, and offered constructive feedback on scientific posters presented by participants.
A highlight of the day was a seminar by Jonas Dagson, who shared his expertise in visual storytelling. Drawing from his experience in journalism, Dagson emphasized the challenges involved in and strategies for presenting information to a broad audience in an engaging and accessible way.
The event was a rewarding experience, providing an opportunity to connect in person with course organizers and fellow participants while honing essential science communication skills.
