This is Yvonne, a second-year Master’s student in Analytical Chemistry.
There are two things she cannot get enough of – hiking and gaining new knowledge.
Yvonne has just started her Master’s thesis in which she is exploring the possibility of using deep learning for toxicity predictions.
She is training an autoencoder to compress the HRMS data and uses it for modeling to estimate the toxicities of unidentified compounds.
Yvonne has previously worked in State Water Supply Waterworks Langenau conducting effect-directed analysis,
and participated in both routine analysis as well as different projects, such as Danube Survey 4.
We are all excited to see the results of your project!
Good luck, Yvonne!
