It is a shame that Drew first arrived in Sweden in January last year when the weather was awful – it was raining everything it could possibly rain and everyone was so busy discussing the weather conditions that they forgot to write a welcome post for Drew (it is important to note that Drew himself was really positively impressed by the weather). Drew is working on non-target screening of emerging contaminants in textiles in collaboration with Prof. Aji Matthew. For the past 3 months, he worked at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, testing desorption electrospray ionization (DESI-HRMS) for nontarget and suspect screening applications, and is finally returning to share his findings. We are excited to hear about your experiences and happy to have you back in the office!
