The beginning of June was a very busy but happy time for our group. On 01.06 Yvonne successfully defended her master thesis in Analytical Chemistry at Stockholm University and Ida defended here Master thesis in Machine Learning at University of Tartu. Just a day later Ellinor defended her bachelor thesis and on 13.06 Leo defended his master thesis at Uppsala University. Congratulations to all of you. You did an amazing job! It was a pleasure to host you in our group. We are looking forward to Gordian and Yuki also finishing their theses soon.
We celebrated the successful theses and the end of the semester with a great group hike on Vaxholm in sunny weather. We enjoyed great views over Stockholm archipelago, shared a tasty picnic with self-made dishes and tested our throwing skills at a game of Kubb.
Now the offices and labs becoming more and more empty for summer break. We wish you all a relaxing and enjoyable summer!
